The Mobile Youth Service - WHAT? truck

"WHAT?" is a semi-trailer truck that began in 2002 and goes to places where young people spend time like skate parks, parks, streets, shops and schools and attends youth and community events.

What does WHAT? stand for:

  • Will
  • Help
  • Any
  • Teenager?

"WHAT?" is usually out and about in the streets and neighbourhoods during the afternoon and evenings in the school term, on Saturdays and during school holidays.

On board, "WHAT?" has a Playstation 3, Wii, X-box, computers, internet, DVDs, magazines, music and activities.

"WHAT?" is mainly for youth but whether you're young, a parent, a grandparent, a child or simply interested you are welcome.

You can see "WHAT?" in Frankston, Frankston North, Seaford, Carrum Downs, and Langwarrin. Wherever the truck is you can come in and play games, use the equipment, talk to workers, get information on a wide range of issues or just hang out. 'What? also visits schools within Frankston City to run programs Such as Youth Service Awareness, Poster Experience, Lunchtime program and other youth related programs.

Open for lunchtimes and take part in special themed days.
